This project originally started out as a provisional project and has since been adopted as a permanent project for our organization. Local schools that understood the stressful situations many students were in during holiday and summer breaks identified the need for a project like this.

Students were provided a three-stage introduction to a healthy lifestyle (Hygiene, Nutrition, Physical Activity). As part of this project, students received a backpack full of healthy food and snacks to take home for the Easter break. The main goal was to provide food to students that may not have meals available to them on school holidays, and teach them sustainable habits for lifelong health. Donations from the local community helped to make this project a success. The goal is to continue to grow this project and hopefully implement it in more schools.
